Welcoming Ramadan
In the spirit of Ramadan, the Riyo Raac Foundation (RRF) upholds its commitment as a nonprofit organization to support those in need. We strive to provide life's essential elements – food, water, shelter, and education – to orphans and impoverished families worldwide.
During this blessed month, we also continue our sponsorship programs to cover the costs of college and high school education for students who may otherwise struggle to afford it. Furthermore, we offer micro-financing opportunities to the poor, destitute, or those with disabilities, empowering them to improve their circumstances and achieve greater financial stability.
Through our mission, we seek to create a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate during this holy month of Ramadan and beyond. Our goal is to help alleviate poverty and suffering, fostering hope and generosity in the hearts of our global community.
As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, we at Riyo Raac Foundation are excited to welcome you all to join us in our mission of helping the less fortunate children and orphans in Somaliland. Ramadan is a special time of reflection, devotion, and generosity. It presents a unique opportunity for us to come together as a community and lend our support to those in need. This year, we are focusing on three major projects to improve the lives of the children at our centers.
Help us Complete our Water Wells
We aim to complete the unfinished large water well at our center. This well is halfway complete, and we need approximately $5,000 to finish the project within the next couple of months. Access to clean water is essential for the health and well-being of the children we serve, and your donations will make a significant impact on their live
Expand to a Girls School
Our second project is the expansion of the center and building for girls. Currently, we have 125 boys at our Wadaamgo center, while 50 girls remain without a place. By donating to this project, you'll be directly supporting the construction of a new facility for these young girls, giving them a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive. The estimated cost for this project is $15,000.
Computer & English Classes
Lastly, we are eager to add computer and English classes to enhance the education of our orphans. This initiative will cost a minimum of $10,000 for the year 2023. By offering these valuable skills, we can provide children with greater opportunities for future success and self-reliance.
