The Riyo Raac Foundation (RRF) is proud to announce its plans to expand orphan care centers in SomaliLand, with the goal of providing better care and support for children who have lost their parents. As part of this effort, RRF is launching a fundraising campaign to raise $50,000 this Ramadan, which will go towards financing these projects and installing solar panel systems in the orphan centers.
Recent Study: Orphans in SomaliLand
According to a recent study, there are over 3.5 million orphans in Somalia, and the majority of them lack basic necessities such as food, shelter, and education. The study also found that orphans in Somalia are at a higher risk of exploitation, abuse, and neglect. Expansion
